The toughened glass structure offers stable mechanical strength, performing well against outdoor impacts and hail strikes. Rainwater naturally washes away surface contaminants, providing better self-cleaning than some ceramic products and reducing the frequency of offline inspection and cleaning. Suitable for high-voltage and extra-high-voltage long-distance transmission lines, they can be deployed in mountainous and coastal humid areas. As a modern traditional insulating component, it balances mechanical performance and maintenance advantages, gradually being adopted in new long-distance transmission lines.
